The Cause
This year our club is partnering with the Lethbridge District Boy’s & Girls Club – an organization that offers after-school drop-in programs and resources for youth – to support their safe graffiti program. Learn more about the Boys & Girls Club here.

President’s Invitation

On behalf of our club, I’d like to invite you to participate in our 12th annual dinner and silent auction fundraiser. The previous 11 annual events have raised over $250,000 for a variety of international and local humanitarian service projects. This year, our club is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Lethbridge to fundraise for their community youth graffiti program. The goal of this project is to positively engage youth in Lethbridge with an area where they can express themselves through art and find the support they need. Youth are undeniably our future, and this project presents a unique way to engage our community’s youth.

Through this project, at risk youth in the community of Lethbridge will be given a safe, supportive space to engage in graffiti without vandalizing private or public property.  Youth interest in this project is substantial but due to financial constraints, the Boys & Girls Club has been unable to consistently offer this program. The proceeds of our 12th Annual Dinner & Silent auction will support this safe space for youth to create art by allowing the graffiti program to run routinely and regularly.  Additionally, the artwork produced will be auctioned every year to contribute to the long-term sustainability of the program.

Critical to the success of this mission is the support of community leaders like you. By attending the dinner, donating silent auction items, or sponsoring the dinner, you provide the youth of this community with support and a better future. Moreover, the event will be an entertaining and fulfilling event where you will be able to meet like minded community leaders. The University of Lethbridge Rotaract Club invites you to join us in giving back to the community through this innovative project, and affecting change in our community.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Sienna Randolph
