We are happy to announce the first winner of the feedback contest, Meagan Fullerton-Lee. Thank you for your participation!
Since the launch of the portal last week, feedback has been overwhelming. We had excellent responses informing us of some improvements that are already underway, as well as ideas for new features.
Your feedback is appreciated as it will help us determine future developments. Hence, we will continue to give out weekly $100 gift cards throughout the summer. By providing us with ongoing constructive feedback within the portal using the blue feedback button, you will get entered into the weekly draw. The more submissions you send, the greater your chances of winning!
Below are some tips on what kind of feedback is helpful to us:
1. Are there any features or links that you’d like to see in the portal?
2. Do you like how the content and features are categorized, or would you lay things out differently?
3. Is everything working correctly and quickly?
This feedback is constantly used to determine what features will be added in the future to enhance your experience.
To keep providing you with exceptional service, we will perform our standard maintenance on the Bridge today, Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11:00pm. Therefore Bridge related links or features (Course Schedule, Scholarship Status, etc) will be unavailable during this time. The outage is only expected to last a couple of hours. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We are happy to announce that the portal is now available to all continuing students! This new web environment is providing you with centralized access to all the information you need as you interact with the University of Lethbridge on a daily basis.
Through single sign, the student portal is consolidating existing systems, such as Moodle, the Library, and the Bridge, into one access location. You are being provided with an easier gateway to dates and deadlines, grades, account balances, and course registration, just to name a few. Announcements and RSS news feeds are also running through the portal, as well as crisis communication information.
Student feedback has been the major driver in the development of the portal, and we need to hear from you to help us ensure future developments are valuable to you! Within the portal, you will find a feedback button on the right hand side. For every feedback submission you give us in the portal over the summer, we will enter you in a weekly draw for a $100 gift card, for a total of 10 gift cards to be given out over the summer. The more submissions you send, the greater your chances of winning!
Student Google e-mail will be available within the portal later this summer. It is currently in development and will include more storage and an improved user interface.
To log into the portal, please go to http://www.portal.uleth.ca
Beginning May 12th, the portal will be available to continuing students and we want to ensure it is of value to you!
Students, we want to hear from you! Using the portal’s feedback button, you can provide your submission to be entered into a weekly draw for a $100 gift card. There will be 10 gift cards given out over the summer. The more submissions you send, the greater your chances of winning!
We are asking you to provide us with your first impressions, what you found useful, what you would like to see in future versions of the portal, but also what you did not like.
Your feedback will ensure we are doing everything we can to enhance the student experience. Even though we cannot incorporate all of your ideas or comments, and some ideas can take a while to implement, feedback will be instrumental in helping determine new features and enhancements.
