CIRT Training

Campus Incident Response Team (CIRT) training will be delivered to each building on campus. Campus Safety Members in collaboration with the First Aid Coordinator, will be providing the training to team members. Please watch your email for your building specific training.

Winter Weather Tips

We have added some basic winter weather tips to the “Be Prepared” primary link of the Campus Safety webpage.  There are some good tips and ideas of how to prepare and stay safe in severe weather.

Annual Fire Drills Completed

The annual fire drills have been completed! Campus Incident Response Team (CIRT) members did a very good job this year and the drills were quite successful. Thank you for all your efforts, Team!

Remember, a propped open door can provide a fire with the oxygen, and become a larger threat to the safety of our community users and property. Keep doors free from any obstructions.

Campus Residence Fire Drills

On the evening of Wednesday September 23, 2015 Campus Safety Representatives attended Piikani House and Mount Blakiston House and conducted annual fire drills.  The Resident Assistants and residents that were on site and participated performed well and Campus Safety appreciates your collective efforts! Thanks again!

“I Believe You”

Today is the kickoff for the “I Believe You” campaign at the University of Lethbridge. The kickoff will occur near the north door of CSW on Level 2. Come and support the campaign and learn more!

Air quality for the Lethbridge area

Fire ban for City of Lethbridge

City of Lethbridge has issued a total fire ban due to the dry conditions. This includes a residential fire pits. For more information check the following link to the City of Lethbridge News Centre.
